Warsaw 26-27 April 2007 - EUROPEAN STEEL COMPANIES-UNIVERSITIES JOINT CONFERENCE
The conference is organised under the auspices of the European Commission and jointly with the Warsaw University of Technology by the Steel Companies and Universities, stakeholders of the European Steel Technology Platform ESTEP.
They have recognised the reinforcement of mutual co-operation as an indisputable tool for building new tailored training methods. Accordingly the Conference is intended as a starting point towards the integration of Industry and University around the key aspects of human resources: education, recruitment, life-long learning, management, etc. Centro Sviluppo Materiali, who has coordinated the activities of the ad hoc established Working Group, has grasped the importance of this need and has promoted the organisation of the event. The role played in this coordination has produced the recognition of the chairmanship CSM is on the way to assure.
