DaInox Bright™: New Annealing & Pickling Line (A&PL) process technology for cold rolled Stainless Steel strip
Danieli and Centro Sviluppo Materiali developed a very innovative process technology, trade named DaInox Bright™, able to obtain stainless steel strip with an enhanced surface quality, close to 2R one, with plant having the same production capacity and cost of conventional A&PLs. Further benefit expected is to decrease the environmental impact of chemical pickling process.

New test at Perdasedefogu
Last March, CSM has carried out in its full-scale test station of Perdasdefogu (Sardinia, Italy) a full-scale ductile fracture propagation burst test on high-grade large diameter linepipes, for a major international client. The results of the test can be considered as a key-step for difining reliability criteria against ductile fracture propagation in future ultra-high pressure gas pipelines.
