TEKNE’ Projects' Arvedi Group
On 6 June 2011, at the Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci” in Milan, was presented to the Institutions, the Confindustria, the world of R & D and the Press, the initiative of the Arvedi Group, in collaboration with other 30 Companies, for supporting R & D on sustainable development issues. Support will be donating part of the revenues from production and use of high-quality, STEEL TEKNE ', produced at the Arvedi plant in Cremona. |

Confirmation of Achilles Qualification
Confirmation of Achilles Qualification
Based on the its certified Quality System, CSM has obtained on 31-Jan-2011 the renewal of its qualification in the Achilles Joint Qualification System, that is now valid till 20-Jan-2012.
The Achilles qualification of the suppliers is used by 36 oil companies and main contractors on the Norwegian and Danish continental shelves to establish the majority of their bidder lists. |

Between last July and August two important qualifications of the CSM Quality System have been renewed: Achilles Qualification, important for suppliers of the Oil Industry of Norway and Denmark, and SINAL Accreditation of the testing laboratories. |

New test at Perdasedefogu
Last March, CSM has carried out in its full-scale test station of Perdasdefogu (Sardinia, Italy) a full-scale ductile fracture propagation burst test on high-grade large diameter linepipes, for a major international client.
The results of the test can be considered as a key-step for difining reliability criteria against ductile fracture propagation in future ultra-high pressure gas pipelines. |
