Abrasion wear slurry tribometer. This equipment is aimed at evaluating the abrasion wear rate caused on materials by solid-liquid mixtures. Tests are normally carried out according to the ASTM G75-95 standard.
Another task of the lab is to support studies on material machinability.
The Lab is also endowed with a “scratch test” device for the measurement of the adhesion strength of thin coating to substrates and a “colorimeter” device devoted to the determination of coatings colour.
