The analytic phase is followed by a synthetic one, which is performed by moving from the laboratory scale to the pilot scale and furtherly from the pilot scale to the industrial one, often through the realization of full scale prototypes.
For this purpose, CSM is equipped with a complete and autonomous set of experimental facilities which are installed in its laboratories and the shareholders production lines:
- A High Current Density Zn Electro-deposition apparatus for laboratories studies;
- A Low-sludge tin-dissolution prototype reactor;
- Laboratory scale electrolytic cells for the simulation of pickling process set-up.
