Through the feasibility studies CSM succeedes in giving to clients the opportunity of choosing the best solution among several allowable options (pyrolisis, gasification, combustion, melting, etc.), justifying it through sampling data, numerical simulations, laboratory scale testing and economical appraisal,too.
But the offer of CSM goes over the typical vocation of the research center by expanding its results to the design and fabrication of pilot solutions which demostrate that the client needs can be successfully approached both in terms of technology and pricing, also taking into account all the aspects concerning the solution scaling-up.
This critical phase is normally supported by final experimental campaigns aimed at defining the best operational process practices and certifying them in terms of process efficiency and effectiveness.
The CSM technological offer is completed, if required by customers, with the design of the plant, its construction, installation and final process start-up and tuning. Part of this work is carried out in joint with engineering companies.
